The Town of York has positions available for ocean lifeguards. Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, CPR and First Aid. Looking for highly motivated, team oriented individuals who enjoy working with the public. Must be available from mid June through Labor Day. Pay range $11.00 to $12.00 per hour - 40 plus hours per week. York is a tourist community that sees 3,000 to 5,000 beach goers daily during the height of the season. The Town of York is seeking applicants for the position of clerk/receptionist at the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a seasonal position (May through September). Applicants should have excellent public relations and communications skills, be a team player, and have knowledge in the use of computers. The York Parks and Recreation Department is looking for kayak instructors for our youth camps and adult paddle club. Must have excellent kayaking skills, and enjoy working with children and adults.
